About Larry Rock:

Born the third oldest of fifteen children in Detroit, Michigan, Larry spent his childhood in the suburb of Farmington. Like most boys, he found the entrepreneurial spirit by starting a paper route to earn money. Because of his love of the outdoors and the need to become self-sufficient in such a large family, he joined the Boy Scouts, where he rose in rank to Eagle Scout.

His father was promoted, and Larry moved with the family to Florida in the late ’60s. The state cast its spell, and Larry knew Florida would be his home. He initially pursued a career in the hospitality industry, only to discover it not to his liking. He changed direction drastically and entered the entertainment business. He had no knowledge of the field, except for his love of music.

The entrepreneur in Larry pushed him to start his own company. As he learned all the technical aspects of the entertainment field, he built his production equipment rental business while honing event design and logistics skills. He now has over thirty years in the concert and special events business, providing all aspects of event production for his clientele.

Due to the high energy, loud volume, and large crowds Larry is constantly involved with, he has adopted gardening as a second love. He is drawn to the creativity of both of his passions. Larry lives with his wife Brenda in a secluded part of northern Florida they have dubbed WingHaven. They promote good stewardship of the land and its resources and listen to music, both in nature and recorded.
